Companies have relied on MDM solutions for years to keep track of the smartphones, tablets, and computers their teams use, as well as manage device settings, and install new software and updates. Those tools aren't, however, capable of meeting modern needs that reach beyond BOYD management to include a much wider range of devices, like POS terminals and kiosks, which have different management requirements.
